If you are just getting started with Essential Oils, my last post might have had you thinking “Wowzers!!!  I could never do that!”  Have no fear.  I didn’t start with all those oils, either.  It took me many years to go that hard core.  Essential oils can be so much simpler than my favorite essential oil blends.   In fact, with just 6 Essential Oils, you can do just about anything you might want to do.  You can gradually add other oils to your stash as you go.  For many years, these 6 oils were the only ones in…

The Essential Oils Craze is still in full swing, and since I was using essential oils before they were cool, I thought I’d help you guys out with some recipes.  I’m nice like that.     A little caveat:  I regularly use essential oils in all kinds of ways — skin care, hair care, baths, diffusers…  I don’t, however, ingest them.  Nor do I recommend that you ingest them.  I don’t care how safe the multi-level marketers tell you they are.  These are highly concentrated plant oils.  There are just too many unsafe-to-ingest ones out there, and too…

Have you been wondering where I was?  Were you biting your nails in desperate worry for me? Were you anxiously watching the clock as you compulsively checked for a new post?  Were you just about to call the Missing Persons Bureau?  No?  Did you hear that sound?  That was the sound of my ego deflating.     I know I have been MIA lately and haven’t done updates on ProjectTHINK, Rock the Gray and the House Declutter Project, or anything else, for that matter. I could bore you with my list of excuses.  I won’t.  But I really…

I didn’t say anything at the time, because I couldn’t see how what I had to say would be helpful.  It was more likely to just cause pain.  A minister’s job is hard enough without me adding to the difficulty by nit-picking or criticizing.  As I thought about it later, though, I…
